Dip Pen Nanolithography is only one of many surface patterning / nanopatterning techniques. Other techniques, such as microcontact printing or nanoimprint lithography, have unique capabilities as well; however, all these techniques share many things in common, particularly surface treatments and related surface chemistry. What experience in those areas can inform our DPN development? What cross-technique wisdom can we glean?
