Ink/Substrate Methods

The right ink.  The right substrate.  That's what DPN boils down to.  Getting these variables synched up is a non-trivial event, and here we try to point you in the best direction for your particular endeavor.  General suggestions:
- the ink has to stick to tip
- the ink has to stick to substrate
- the ink has to transfer from the tip to the substrate
- the ink has to form some sort of stable pattern on the surface, either through chemisorption (covalent bond) or physisorption (Van der Waals)
